Snow is just around the corner!  At least I anticipate that it is where I am - some of you may have 'turned' that corner already.   It is nearly Christmas after all . . .

Time rumbles on and we are now only 6 months away from the 27th General Assembly and Conventions of the Church of the Nazarene.  I hope that you have worked out your lodging arrangements.  If not, especially if you are an elected representative to the Sunday School Convention, please go online and make those reservations now.  I suggest that you go to the denominational web site, then click on the icon for General Assembly and follow the instructions from there.

Churches should have received preliminary information about the 2009 Children's Camp...if you haven't, please contact either Jackie Zeckser (jzeckser@alltel.net) or D'Anne Means (pastordanne@heritagehillchurch.net) in order to get that mailing.  Camp location and dates have changed for next year (Camp Maranatha and the first week in August).  Be sure that you get it on your schedule now!

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6, NKJ)  May this same Child, this same Wonderful Counselor, this same Prince of Peace keep you this blessed season and forever.  If you do not know Him, come to know Him now - He is seeking you.  In this time of turmoil and uncertainty, know His peace which transcends our human understanding.
