VISION 2012
The Nebraska District Church of the Nazarene
has a goal to start 7 new ministries by 2012, the 100th Anniversary of the Nebraska District. We have hired Rev. Wes Meisner and his wife, Judy, to direct this significant ministry. Rev. Meisner is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He is eminently qualified to lead this ministry because he resurrected the Nazarene Student Center at Oklahoma State, serving as its director for 12 years. He was also very instrumental in establishing the Nazarene Student Center at the University of Oklahoma while pastoring Norman, Oklahoma, First Church of the Nazarene. Wes served five years as a consultant to the Nazarene Department of Youth concerning secular campus ministry. He currently serves on the steering committee for Secular Campus Ministry for Mission USA/Canada. God is showing grace in bringing the Meisners to head our ministry.
We have closed on our new property in a prime location
on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. The location is great but the property needs much work.
