NEBRASKANS ANSWER THE CALL
On June 8, 2011, Jesus Film Harvest Partners sent out an urgent request. Because of the open door in eastern Bangladesh, Jesus Film is going to start 10 new Jesus film teams. They requested we pray for individuals with time and resources to deliver the equipment to the field! They need 10 volunteer partners to deliver one 50 pound solar backpack equipment set to Bangladesh before August 1st.
This request was shared at the Nebraska District NMI convention and the Farnam Church of the Nazarene answered the call! On July 23, 4 people will be heading to Dhaka with backpacks in tow. Please pray for Pastor Cliff Transmeier, Jerry Johnson, Kendi Boller and Alyssa Boller as they get their paperwork in order and raise the needed funds for this quick trip.
Pastor Transmeier reports, "We have been praying for a long time that God would use our church to spread His gospel to our community, our surrounding area and around the world. God has answered our prayers in a way that was beyond anything we had in mind. The Lord has been working through this whole process and I am excited to see what God has in store. The whole congregation is thrilled and I am so proud that our church in a town of 217 can be used of God in such a way."
